If this book does nothing else but generate and stimulate a continuing prayer vigil for those encountering severe trials behind the “Bamboo Curtain,” it will have served well. That is all that Chester and Mary might ask of us. I pray that many who read about these missionaries’ faith will put their faith in the God who delivers those He chooses, calls, and sends into our world.
